I just posted a feature request to PDFCreator on Sourceforge, asking for the possibility to enable/disable automatic update check: http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&aid=2764856&group_idError 339 MSCOMCT2.OCX =57796&atid=485460 I asked this because I prefer to take care to update this software via WPKG. For any reason, uninstall of pdfcreator leaves unins000.exe and new installation creates unins001.exe and unins001.dat. So you may check for dat-File rather than exe and delete whole pdfcreator directory before installing. You get strange screens from uninstall without acompaying dat-File.
