: It was added on 7 June 2010, with no specific explanation and has been there ever since. It does seem to uninstall both versions, yet I've had it in my packages and never had any trouble with it. It appears that versions 10.1+ have the ability to do silent uninstalls of either activex or plugin with the FlashUtil.exe as shown [http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/116/4da116d3.html#main_10.1 here]. Feel free to fix it if you want. [[User:JohnD|JohnD]] 17:21, 15 June 2011 (CEST)

== Distribution Link should probably be removed ==
The Flash Player distribution link (http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html) should probably be removed from the page, as Adobe's distribution license agreement ''clearly'' says: "'''You may not share the above link, share information with others, or publish the above link on websites, blogs, or by any other means that can be publicly accessed. The information contained on this site is meant for your use only in accordance with Adobe Flash Player Distribution License Agreement you accepted. You may direct others to http://www.adobe.com/products/players/fpsh_distribution1.html to request distribution rights.'''"
