As of version 5.1 you can disable the 4 there is no longer a Welcome Dialog. The preference exists in two locations in the registry: Per-user automated configuration:  HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader 5.0\Preferences\Others\bShowWelcomeDlg=REG_SZ:0 HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader 5.0\Preferences\general\bShowStartPage=REG_SZ:0 (Note the reversion from 'HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader 5.1' back to 'HKCU\Software\Foxit Software\Foxit Reader 5.0')
