→Disabling auto update
If Firefox is started by a user without administrative powers, automatic Firefox update will fail - which is harmless, but can confuse some users.
To disable Firefox auto updates, read [[Firefox##Locking_user_preferences_.2F_Firefox_settings_for_all_users_.28like_proxy_etc..29|locking user preferences]] first - add this line to your mozilla.cfg file:
lockPref("app.update.enabled", false);
